English Bulldogs are a wonderful family pet, but we do encourage every one to educate themselves about the breed to make sure a bullie is right for them. Bullies are great with kids because of their patient, docile, gentle nature.Some of their more desciptive names are "sour mug" and "lazy mans dog". With their tendency to bark very little and be loyal to their family they are a great companion for young and old alike. Bullies are most definatly house dogs. They DO NOT tolerate heat/humidity and are easily prone to heat stress. That said, they do love to go for walks or a good romp in the yard, just be aware of tempature and ALWAYS keep fresh water available at all times whether at play or at rest. Once owned by a Bullie you will not want him to be anywhere else but by your side! Our goal as hobby exhibitor/breeders is to preserve the health, conformation and future of this wonderful, loveable, one of a kind breed, therefore we only breed for our next show hopeful and English bulldog puppies not going to show homes are placed limited registration, spay/neuter only.
